ศูนย์แถลงข่าวร่วมฯ แถลงวันแรก ติดตามวิกฤตตะวันออกกลาง ย้ำดูแลคนไทย–คุมพลังงาน–ช่วยนักท่องเที่ยว
4 มีนาคม 2569 – นายปาณิดล ปัจฉิมสวัสดิ์ รักษาการอธิบดีกรมสารนิเทศและรองโฆษก กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พร้อมด้วย นายวีรพัฒน์ เกียรติเฟื่องฟู รองปลัดกระทรวงพลังงาน และนายเศกสันฐ์ ง้าวสุวรรณ์ ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา ร่วมแถลงข่าววันแรกของ “ศูนย์แถลงข่าวร่วมสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินในตะวันออกกลาง” ตามข้อสั่งการนายกรัฐมนตรี (นายอนุทิน ชาญวีระกูล) ในการจัดตั้งศูนย์เพื่อสื่อสารสถานการณ์แก่ประชาชน
นายปาณิดลฯ กล่าวถึงพัฒนาการของสถานการณ์ในตะวันออกกลางปัจจุบันซึ่งยังคงตึงเครียด มีการโจมตีต่อเนื่องในอิหร่าน เลบานอน และหลายประเทศในภูมิภาค ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต บาดเจ็บ และพลัดถิ่น ในขณะที่อาเซียนเรียกร้องให้ทุกฝ่ายยุติความรุนแรงและคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัยของประชาชน
โดยกระทรวงการต่างประเทศเร่งให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในพื้นที่ที่ได้รับผลกระทบ ขณะนี้ยังไม่มีรายงานผู้บาดเจ็บหรือเสียชีวิต โดยอิหร่านซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงสุด ทางสถานทูตฯ ได้กำหนดอพยพคนไทย 2 รอบ คือ วันที่ 7 และ 10 มีนาคม 2569 ขณะนี้ มีผู้ลงทะเบียนแล้วกว่าร้อยคน ส่วนประเทศอื่น ๆ เช่น สหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ บาห์เรน กาตาร์ จอร์แดน และอิรัก สถานทูตฯ ในพื้นที่ดูแลและให้คำแนะนำอย่างใกล้ชิดเพื่อประสานการเดินทางกลับ พร้อมเตือนประชาชนอย่าหลงเชื่อข่าวปลอมกรณีไทยลงนามสนธิสัญญา Indo-Pacific ซึ่งไม่เป็นความจริง
ด้านพลังงาน รองปลัดกระทรวงพลังงานยืนยันว่า แม้สถานการณ์จะกระทบการนำเข้าน้ำมันในตะวันออกกลาง แต่ไทยนำเข้าน้ำมันจากหลายแหล่ง โดยราว 40% มาจากนอกภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลาง จึงจะไม่เกิดการขาดแคลนน้ำมันอย่างแน่นอน พร้อมใช้กลไกกองทุนน้ำมันเชื้อเพลิงเข้าควบคุมดูแลราคาขายปลีก และเตรียมตรึงราคาดีเซล ในช่วง 15 วันข้างหน้า
สำหรับมาตรการการช่วยเหลือนักท่องเที่ยว ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาย้ำการบูรณาการร่วมกับการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย ภาคธุรกิจ และอีกหลายหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง จัดตั้งศูนย์ติดตามสถานการ์วิกฤตท่องเที่ยว ดูแลนักท่องเที่ยวในพื้นที่หลัก อาทิ ภูเก็ต กระบี่ พังงา และเชียงใหม่ พร้อมยกเว้นค่าปรับให้ผู้พำนักเกินกำหนด และอนุญาตให้อยู่ต่อได้ ครั้งละไม่เกิน 30 วัน โดยสามารถติดต่อสายด่วน 1178, 1672 และ 1155
รัฐบาลยืนยันติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด พร้อมดูแลความปลอดภัยคนไทยและนักท่องเที่ยวต่างชาติ ควบคู่กับการรักษาเสถียรภาพทางพลังงาน พร้อมสื่อสารข้อมูลผ่านการแถลงของ “ศูนย์แถลงข่าวร่วมสถานการณ์ฉุกเฉินในตะวันออกกลาง” ต่อเนื่องทุกวัน เวลา 18.10 น. ถ่ายทอดสดและช่องทางออนไลน์ผ่านสถานีโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทย (NBT2HD) และช่อง 9 อสมท.

Joint Press Center Holds First Briefing on Middle East Crisis, Reaffirms Support for Thais, Energy Stability, and Tourists
4 March 2026 – Mr. Panidone Pachimsawat, Acting Director-General of the Department of Information and Deputy Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with Mr. Veerapat Kiatfuengfoo, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, and Mr. Seksun Ngawsuwan, Assistant Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, delivered the first official briefing of the “Joint Press Center on the Emergency Situation in the Middle East,” established under the directive of Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul to provide timely and coordinated information to the public.
Mr. Panidone outlined the latest developments in the Middle East, noting that the situation remains highly tense, with continued attacks reported in Iran, Lebanon, and several other countries in the region, resulting in casualties, injuries, and displacement. He added that ASEAN has called on all parties to cease violence and prioritize the safety and well-being of civilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is expediting assistance to Thai nationals in affected areas. To date, there have been no reports of Thai casualties or injuries. In Iran, currently assessed as the highest-risk area, the Royal Thai Embassy has scheduled two evacuation rounds on 7 and 10 March 2026, with over one hundred Thai nationals already registered. In other countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, and Iraq, Thai embassies are closely monitoring the situation, providing guidance, and facilitating travel arrangements for those wishing to return to Thailand. The Ministry also cautioned the public against misinformation, particularly false claims that Thailand has signed an Indo-Pacific treaty, which are untrue.
On energy security, Mr. Veerapat affirmed that although the situation may affect oil supplies from the Middle East, Thailand imports crude oil from diversified sources, with approximately 40 percent sourced from outside the region. He assured that there will be no oil shortage. The Government stands ready to utilize the Oil Fuel Fund mechanism to stabilize retail prices and will maintain the diesel price cap over the next 15 days.
Regarding tourism, Mr. Seksun emphasized close coordination with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the private sector, and relevant agencies to establish a Tourism Crisis Monitoring Center. Authorities are providing assistance to tourists in key destinations such as Phuket, Krabi, Phang Nga, and Chiang Mai. Measures include waiving overstay fines and permitting temporary extensions of stay of up to 30 days per request. Tourists may seek assistance through the hotlines 1178, 1672, and 1155.
The Government reaffirmed its commitment to closely monitoring developments, ensuring the safety of Thai nationals and foreign tourists, and safeguarding national energy stability. The Joint Press Center on the Emergency Situation in the Middle East will continue to provide daily briefings at 6:10 p.m., broadcast live on the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT2HD) and 9 MCOT, as well as through online platforms.
